Turn the battery disconnect switch to the off position.

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device around counterweight (1) .

Remove bolts (2). Remove counterweight (1). Repeat for other side.

Remove bolt (3) and battery box (4). Repeat for opposite side.

Disconnect harness assembly (5) .

Attach Tooling (B) and (C) and a suitable lifting device to counterweight (7). Remove bolts (6) and counterweight (7). The weight of counterweight (7) is approximately 317.5 kg (700 lb).

Remove harness guard (8) .

Disconnect harness assembly (9) .

Attach Tooling (B) and (C) and a suitable lifting device to counterweight (11). Remove bolts (10) and counterweight (11). The weight of counterweight (11) is approximately 317.5 kg (700 lb).Installation Procedure
Install counterweights (7) and (11) in reverse order of the removal. The weight of counterweights (7) and (11) are approximately 317.5 kg (700 lb).
