Margin Pressure Test (2) Pressure gauge. (3) Pressure gauge for margin pressure. (4) Pressure differential gauge group. (5) Hydraulic line from signal pressure tap to the single port on the pressure differential gauge group. (6) Hydraulic line from the pressure tap for the steering pump to the tee on the pressure differential gauge group.
Attach a 0 to 40000 kPa (0 to 5800 psi) pressure gauge (2) to the tee on pressure differential gauge group (4) .

Right Side View of Steering Metering Pump (8) Steering metering pump. (9) Pressure tap for signal pressure.
Connect hydraulic line (5) between signal pressure tap (9) and the single pressure port on pressure differential gauge group (4) . Signal pressure tap (9) is located next to steering metering pump (8) . Steering metering pump (8) is located below the front of the operator's cab.Note: Position pressure differential gauge group (4) and hydraulic lines (5) and (6) in order to prevent damage from any machine movement. Position the test equipment in order to allow a second technician to safely observe and record the pressure readings.
Start the engine. Operate the engine at high idle. Move the tilt control lever to the TILT BACK position in order to increase the temperature of the oil to normal operating temperature. The oil is at normal operating temperature when the hydraulic oil temperature indicator is between the first mark and the second mark. Check for oil leaks.
After the oil has reached normal operating temperature, lower the bucket to the ground. Stop the engine.

Steering Frame Lock in the STORED Position (1) Steering frame lock.
Move steering frame lock (1) to the STORED position.
Start the engine. Raise the bucket until the bucket is slightly off the ground. Run the engine at high idle.Note: During the following steps, do not continue to turn the steering wheel once the machine ceases to articulate. Once the machine ceases to articulate in one direction, immediately turn the steering wheel in the
