Information:

a. Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from working machines and personnel. Lower all implements to the ground. Install the wheel lean pin in front axle.b. Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel either away from the machine or in view of the operator.c. Activate the parking brake. Place all implements on the ground and put the blade in the "FLOAT" position.d. Stop the engine.e. Turn the steering wheel back and forth several times to relieve pressure in the steering accumulator.f. Carefully loosen the filler cap on the hydraulic tank to release pressure in the tank.g. Be sure all hydraulic pressure is released before any fitting, hose or component is loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.h. Tighten the cap on the hydraulic tank.i. The pressure in the hydraulic system must be released before lines or components can be removed.
Hydraulic pressure can exist in the hydraulic lines between the control valves and the cylinders with the engine stopped. Manually relieve pressure before working on any hydraulic circuit.
2. Remove plug (1) from ecology drain (2) at the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank. Drain the hydraulic oil in a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the hydraulic oil tank is 63 liters (17 U.S. gal). 3. Remove two bolts (3). Remove four bolts (4) from back side of plate (5). Use a hoist, or have two people remove cover plate (5) from the machine frame. The weight of plate (5) is 15 kg (33 lb). 4. Put identification marks on five electrical connectors (9) and ten hoses (6) for assembly purposes. Disconnect the five electrical connectors. Disconnect the ten hoses. Plug the hoses to prevent the loss of oil, and to keep dirt out of the hydraulic system. Remove the two bolts and washers that hold valve (8) to plate (10). The bolts can be accessed between plate (10) and the machine frame. Remove valve (8) from plate (10) by using a hoist. The weight of the all wheel drive flushing and cooling valve is 29.5 kg (65 lb).Install All Wheel Drive Flushing & Cooling Valve
1. During installation of the all wheel drive flushing and cooling valve, check the condition of all O-ring seals used in the ends of hose assemblies that were disconnected. If any of the seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement. 2. Attach a hoist to valve (8). Position the valve to plate (10) and install the two bolts and washers that hold valve (8) to plate (10). Access to install these bolts is between plate (10) and the machine frame.3. Connect ten hoses (6) to their original positions in pump (8). Connect five electrical connectors (9) to their original positions. 4. Position plate (5) to the machine frame. Install four bolts (4). Install two bolts (3). 5. Close ecology drain (2), and install plug (1). Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the
