(5) Relief valve for rear brake coolingTorque converter, hoist, brake, and transmission hydraulic tank (1) is located on the left side of the frame between the front and the rear tires. Transmission section (4) is separated from torque converter, hoist, and brake section (3) by a wall inside hydraulic tank (1). Transmission section (4) supplies oil for the operation of the transmission. An air breather for section (4) is located on top of the hydraulic tank. Torque converter, hoist, and brake section (3) supplies oil to the brakes, the brake cooling system, the torque converter system, and the hoist hydraulics. An air breather for section (3) is located on vertical frame member on the left side of the machine.Torque converter, hoist, and brake section (3) has one sight gauge. This sight gauge is used for checking the oil level with hot oil. Transmission section (4) has two sight gauges. The bottom sight gauge is used for checking the oil level with cold oil. The top sight gauge is used for checking the oil level with hot oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for lubrication viscosities and for refill capacities for both sections of hydraulic tank (1) .Relief valve (2) for rear brake cooling is located inside hydraulic tank (1). Relief valve (2) provides pressure relief to all oil that flows to the coolers for the rear brakes. Hoist control valve (5) is also located inside hydraulic tank (1). Relief valve (2) and hoist control valve (5) are accessible by removing the cover that is located on the left side of hydraulic tank (1) .Tank Ports
