TOOL GP TUBE 8T0925 - Caterpillar

1. Remove two bolts (3) that hold elbow (2) to the exhaust manifold.2. Remove elbow (2) and coupling (1) from the engine. 3. Remove tube assembly (4) and (5) from the turbocharger and the cylinder block. 4. Loosen hose clamps (6) and (7).5. Remove bolts (9), the nuts, turbocharger (8) and the gasket from the engine.Install Turbocharger
1. Put the gasket and turbocharger (3) in position on the engine as shown. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the bolts. Install bolts (4) and the nuts that hold the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).2. Tighten hose clamps (1) and (2). 3. Make sure the O-ring seal is in position on the bottom of tube assembly (6).4. Install tube assemblies (5) and (6) on the engine.5. Put the gaskets in position, and connect tube assemblies (5) and (6) to the turbocharger. 6. Put coupling (7) and elbow (8) in position as shown. Install the two bolts that hold elbow (8) to the exhaust manifold.End By:a. install muffler
