3. Remove bolt (1) that holds oil gauge tube (2) to the engine.4. Loosen fitting (4) that holds tube assembly (3) to the elbow.5. Loosen fitting (5), and remove fitting (6) from the oil pan.6. Remove oil gauge tube (2) and tube assembly (3) as a unit from the engine. 7. Remove bolt and nut (7), and disconnect clip (9) that holds breather tube (8) in place.8. Remove bolt (11), and disconnect clip (12) that holds breather tube (8) to the engine.9. Loosen clamps (10), and remove breather tube (8) from the engine. 10. Remove three bolts (13) and oil cooler bracket (14) from the oil pan and the oil cooler. 11. Remove six bolts (17) and cover (16) from the support.12. Disconnect tube assembly (15) from the elbow located on the top side of the support. 13. Remove the bolt and bracket (20) from the oil pan.14. Remove bolts (19) and oil pan (18) from the engine.Install Oil Pan
1. Inspect the oil pan gasket, and make a replacement if necessary. 2. Put oil pan (1) and the gasket in position on the engine, and install bolts (2) that hold it.3. Put bracket (3) in position on the oil pan, and install the bolt that holds it in place. 4. Put cover (5) in position on the support, and install bolts (6) that hold it in place.5. Connect tube assembly (4) to the elbow located on the top side of the support. 6. Put oil cooler bracket (8) in position on the oil cooler and the oil pan, and install three bolts (7) that hold it in place. 7. Put breather tube (10) in position on the engine, and tighten clamps (9) that hold it in place on the breather assembly.8. Put clip (12) in position on the fan drive support, and install bolt (11) that holds it.9. Put clip (14) in position, and install bolt and nut (13) that holds breather tube (10). 10. Put oil gauge tube (16) and tube assembly (15) as a unit in position on the engine as shown.11. Install fitting (19) in the oil pan, and tighten fitting (18).12. Tighten fitting (17) that holds tube assembly (15) in the elbow.13. Install bolt (20) that holds oil gauge tube (16) to the engine.14. Install the front crankcase guard (if so equipped) under the oil pan.15. Fill the engine with clean oil to the correct level. Refer to the Operation & Maintenance manual for this information.
