start by:a) remove wheel brakes 1. Disconnect brake line (4) from block (1). Remove two setscrews (3) from block and remove block from the anchor housing. Remove the O-ring seal from the block. 2. Fasten straps and tool (A) to the anchor housing and spindle as shown. Fasten a hoist to tool (A) and the straps. Remove nuts (2), then remove the anchor housing (5) and spindle as a unit. Weight of the unit is 1200 lb. (540 kg). 3. Remove O-ring seal (6) from the spindle. 4. Put spindle (7) in position on a wooden block. Remove the four bolts that hold spindle (7) to anchor housing (5), then make a separation between spindle and anchor housing. 5. Put anchor housing (5) in position on spindle (7). Install the four bolts that hold the anchor housing and spindle together.6. Install a new O-ring seal on the spindle. 7. Fasten straps and tool (A) to the anchor housing and spindle as shown. Fasten a hoist to tool (A) and the straps and put the anchor housing and spindle in position on the axle housing and install the nuts (2) that hold it. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 825 80 lb.ft. (1125 110 N m). 8. Install a new O-ring seal (8) on block (1). Install block (1) on the anchor housing with two setscrews. Connect brake line (4) to the block.end by:a) install wheel brakes
