Information:

start by:a) remove drive shaft (center) 1. Remove nut (2) and loosen fittings (3) and (4). Remove tube assembly (1). 2. Remove bolt (5), retainer (6) and O-ring seal from the drive yoke. 3. Remove drive yoke (7) from the shaft. 4. Remove six bolts (9) and nuts from cage (8). 5. Fasten the 8S9906 Ratchet Assembly in tooling (A) to the front of drive shaft (11). Fasten the 5P9736 Bracket-Link Assembly in tooling (A) to the machine just above the drive shaft (11).6. Remove four bolts (10) from the drive shaft. 7. Install two 1/2" x 13 NC forcing screws (12) in the cage of the drive shaft to loosen the cage from the frame. 8. Fasten tooling (B) to the machine and to the cage of the drive shaft. Lower and lift both 8S9906 Ratchet Assemblies as needed to move the drive shaft to the center of the machine. Remove tooling (A). 9. Fasten tooling (A) along with straps to the outside edge of the machine. Fasten straps to the front end of the drive shaft. Lift and lower the 8S9906 Ratchet Assemblies as needed to remove the drive shaft (11) from the machine. Weight of the drive shaft is 270 lb. (122 kg).Install Drive Shaft (Front)
1. Fasten tooling (A) to the drive shaft (1) as shown. Lift and lower the two 8S9906 Ratchet Assemblies as needed to move the drive shaft into position at the center of the machine. 2. Fasten tooling (B) to the front end of the drive shaft and pull the drive shaft through the machine's frame. Install the six bolts and nuts that hold the drive shaft cage to the frame. 3. Fasten drive shaft spider and bearings to the front differential yoke with the four bolts that hold it. Put 1P808 General Purpose Lubricant on the threads and surfaces under bolt heads. Tighten these bolts to a torque of 350 35 lb.ft. (470 45 N m). 4. Install drive yoke (2) on shaft. 5. Install a new O-ring seal (3) on shaft. Install retainer (4) and bolt (5) on the shaft. Tighten the bolt (5) to a torque of 265 35 lb.ft. (360 45 N m). 6. Put tube assembly (6) in position on block and drive shaft cage. Tighten fittings (8) and (9). Install nut (7) that holds tube assembly to machine's bulkhead.end by:a) install drive shaft (center)Disassemble Drive Shaft (Front)

Remove guard (5) from shaft. 5. Remove four bolts (6), then remove spider and bearing assembly (7) from shaft. 6. Remove bearing assembly (8) from the cage assembly. 7. Remove two bearing cups (9) from the cage. 8. Remove seal (10) from the cage. 9. Remove seal from retainer with tooling (A).Assemble Drive Shaft (Front)
1. Install the lip type seal in the retainer
