Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Ensure that all components of the crankcase breather are clean and free from damage. Replace any components that are damaged.

Ensure that hose (2) is free from damage and restriction. Replace the hose if damaged or restricted.
Position clamp (1) onto hose (2). Install the hose assembly onto the valve mechanism cover.
If necessary, install clip (3) to hose (2).
Position spacer (4) onto the cylinder block and install bolt (5) finger tight.
Loosely install cable strap (6).
Ensure that hose (2) is routed correctly. Tighten clamp (1) securely.
Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 22 N m (194.72 lb in). Note: Do not allow clip (3) to rotate when bolt (5) is tightened.
Tighten cable strap (6) securely.
