Information that is displayed on the following components will be affected by the tractor-scraper select switch.

Quad gauge moduleThe above components will display active information for the configuration that is selected.The default information that is displayed is for the tractor. The system has several automatic override features. When the operator has selected either system, the selection will remain on the display until one of the following conditions occur.
One of the engines is started.
The operator selects the opposite system.
The system detects an event that overrides the selected default.
The power to the machine is turned off.The instrumentation will automatically display information relative to the engine that is being started.If an event higher than level 1 occurs, the Caterpillar Monitoring System will automatically override the default display setting. Then, the monitoring system will display information relative to the event. The operator will not be allowed to override the display during an active level 2 or level 3 event. If both the tractor and the scraper have events at the same time, the system with the highest level event becomes the default display. An indicator lamp is located on the front dash in order to indicate that the tractor has been selected as the default information display. Also, there is an indicator lamp on the front dash that indicates that the scraper has been selected as the default information display.
