1. Put a metal slug (1) in the sprocket as shown. 2. As the machine is moved to the rear with the slug in position, the recoil spring (2) will be put under compression. Remove carrier roller.3. Move the machine until the front pilot of the recoil spring is approximately 3.175 mm (.125 in) away from the stops.4. Remove bolt (3) and washer. Tighten nut (4) by hand to gold the recoil spring in a shorter position.5. Remove four bolts (5) and remove two stops (6). 6. Remove four bolts (7) and move idler as (8) towards front of tractor. 7. Pull yoke assembly (9) out of re-coil spring (2). 8. Fasten two straps as shown and a hoist to the recoil spring (2) and remove. Weight is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Install in the reverse order. If a replacement of recoil spring is to be made, put the new spring in position and put the spring under compression until the distance (X) is 47.6 cm (18.75 in). Tighten nut (11) to hold the spring and retainers.End By:connect track
