Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Safety operations before BLCV's rework procedure:
I) Place the machine on flat level ground.
II) Stop the engine.
III) Turn the main disconnect switch to the "0" position.
IV) Release the pressure in all hydraulic circuit. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, section "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release" in the Service Manual.
The below procedure is explaining the rework for 1 BLCV only.
1) Remove the 222-3347 Valve Group from the BLCV. Be carefull to not loose the pin inside this valve group basic. Picture 1.2.1 is showing the 222-3347 Valve Group section with the pin.

2) With a magnet pen tool, remove the piston and the shims from the internal cavity. Be carefull to not loose the shims.

3) With a magnet pen tool, remove the pin from the guide assembly.

4) With an allen key wrench for internal hexagonal 1/4 inch dimension, dis-assemble the guide from the BLCV body.

5)Assemble a new 3J-1907 Seal-O-Ring on the new 293-0653 Guide Assembly as illustrated on picture. The new 293-0653 Guide Assembly is manufactured with more threads.

6) Assemble the new guide in the BLCV and tighten to a torque of 35 +/- 4 Nm.

7) Assemble the new pin from 293-0653 Guide Assembly with pin groove orientation in accordance with the picture below.

8)Install the shims into the piston between the pin from 293-0653 Guide Assembly and the piston.
9)Replace the old 7M-8484 Seal-O-Ring by a new one into the 222-3347 Valve Group basic.
10)Replace the old 122-7797 Ring by a new one into the 222-3347 Valve Group basic.
11)Check presence of 222-3344 Valve Group basic pin. If not, re-assemble properly.
12)Re-assemble the complete 222-3347 Valve Group basic and tighten to a torque of 215 +/- 25 Nm on the BLCV body.

13)Turn the main disconnect switch to the "1" position and start the engine.
14)Slowly move the joystick to the Boom Up in order to raise boom 1m above the ground and then lower it slowly.
15)Repeat this operation 10 times in order to purge the air.
