(1) Torque for stud in filter base: Put 9S3263 Thread Lock Compound on the threads of the stud 10.2 1.5 mm (.40 .06 in.) from the end that is installed in the base.Tighten the stud to ... 80 14 N m (60 10 lb.ft.)(2) Put clean engine oil on the filter gasket. Put the filter in position and tighten it until the gasket makes contact with the base. Turn the filter 270° (3/4 of one turn) more.(3) Tighten the bolt to a torque of ... 24 7 N m (18 5 lb.ft.) Put clean engine oil on all O-ring seals at assembly.
