For more information on the 225-8266 Ammeter Tool Group, refer to page 1-1 in the Dealer Service Tools Catalog.The 243-3140 Current Detector allows the technician to locate conductors which are carrying current. With the current detector, the technician can pinpoint a specific conductor in a group that carries current. The technician pinpoints a specific conductor by reducing the sensitivity of the current detector. The technician moves the current detector near the current carrying conductor. When the current detector beeps and flashes, the technician repeats this process.
