Apply 207-1600 Rubber Lubricant to the mating surfaces of radiator core (1) and spacer (2). Install spacer (2) and retainer (3) on radiator core (1). Ensure that spacer (2) is seated on radiator core (1). Ensure that retainer (3) is seated firmly on the lip of spacer (2). Retainer (3) should not be misaligned.

Note: When a radiator core (1) is installed a new seal (4) should be used.
Apply 207-1600 Rubber Lubricant to the internal diameters and the external diameters of new seal (4). Install new seal (4) on bottom tank (5) .

Reapply 207-1600 Rubber Lubricant to the inside diameters of seals (4) prior to the installation of radiator core (1) .
Apply 207-1600 Rubber Lubricant to the outside diameters of the two tubes on the bottom of radiator core (1) .

Ensure that the vent tubes on the top of the radiator cores point toward the front of the machine. Tilt the top of the radiator core inward and place the radiator core into the original position.

Locking pliers with modified jaws
When the lower tubes on the radiator core are centered in the seal bores, use downward pressure to install radiator core (1). Use locking pliers with modified jaws to install the radiator cores.

Install two bolts and washers (8) in radiator core (1) .Note: Ensure that spacer (2) and retainer (3) are seated on the radiator core. The retainer should not be misaligned prior to installing the bolts.

Apply 207-1600 Rubber Lubricant to the outside of the vent tubes and the inside of the hoses on the top of the radiator cores.

Install hose clamps (6) and hoses (7) on radiator core (1) .
Repeat the above procedure for each of the remaining radiator cores.

In order to install a complete set of radiator cores, begin with the outside radiator cores and work toward the center of the radiator. Move the middle radiator core to the right in order to pass by the center tubes.
Use air pressure to check the radiator for leaks. Plug the inlet and the outlet of the bottom tank. Slowly pressurize the radiator to 69 kPa (10 psi). The pressure relief setting of the radiator cap is 103 21 kPa (15 3 psi). Monitor the drop-off in pressure.
If the pressure falls more than twenty percent in five minutes, use soapy water to check for leaks. Leaks usually occur at seals (4) and hoses (7) .

Close left door (9) and right door (10). Install eight bolts (11) and the washers.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation And Maintenance Manual, SEBU6890 or SEBU6896, "Cooling System Extended Life Coolant - Change" for the fluid capacities and for the proper filling procedure.
