Press the down key to view the "PASSWORD REQUIRED TO RESET THE SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL".The security level that is required is level 3 but, the required security level can be changed with Cat ET.Perform the following procedure to reset the timer on the display:

At the main menu, press the down key and highlight "CONFIGURE". Press the "OK" key.A dialog like Illustration 21 appears.

"RESET SERV INTVL" is highlighted. Press the "OK" key to reset the service interval.

Click on "Service Maintenance Interval".
Double-click on "Maintenance Level 1 Cycle Interval Hours" located to the right.A dialog similar to Illustration 27 will appear.

Enter a new value. Click "OK" to accept the value or click "Cancel" to exit without saving the changes.

Double-click on "Customer Password Security Level to Reset Service Maintenance Interval" to enter a new security level.A screen like Illustration 29 appears.

Select the level of security that you desire. Click "OK" to accept the value or click "Cancel" to exit without saving the changes.Note: Change the password to level 3 after the reset to prevent accidentally resetting the timer.
