Removal Procedure
Pressurized air can cause personal injury. The air supply lines are pressurized to 830 kPa (120 psi).Purge the air from the system before performing any maintenance to the air system.
Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Lower the scraper bowl to the ground. Chock the wheels in order to prevent the machine from moving.

Note: Make sure that the parking brake is released.
Loosen lock bolt (4). Rotate worm shaft (5) until pin (2) can be removed. Remove cotter pin (3) that secures pin (2) to yoke assembly (1). Remove pin (2) that secures yoke assembly (1) to the slack adjuster.
Rotate the slack adjuster away from yoke assembly (1). This will provide clearance after the air has been purged from the air system.
Purge the air from the air tanks.

Disconnect hose assemblies (6) from brake actuator (7) .

Remove nuts (8) that secure brake actuator (7) to the machine. Remove brake actuator (7) from the machine.
