An improved parts frame has been developed for 797 and 797B Off-Highway Trucks. The frame has several enhancements that were implemented on the 797F frame.

The improved parts frame uses a 797F front bumper that offers reduced stress values during center towing applications and reduced weight.

The improved parts frame has a more robust front cross tube bolted joint with increased component life.

The improved parts frame uses a 797F steering box which offers improved pin joint life, with a larger pin. The center steering arm has been updated to the 797F forged design from the 797B cast design.

The improved parts frame uses a 797F drop tube which offers reduced stress in the weld joint and increased frame life.

The engine mount castings on the frame are designed for a 3524 engine. The frame may be retrofitted to use a C175-20 engine. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS4435, "Procedure to Retrofit the 797B Off-Highway Truck with the C175-20 Engine" for additional retrofit information.Adaptable To: The 432-1599 Frame Gp is adaptable to 797 (S/N: 5YW1-UP) and 797B (S/N: JSM1-UP).Note: The 432-1599 Frame Gp is not a stocked part and may experience up to a 6 month lead time.
