Hydraulic Hose Burst Check Valve warning page
(1) OK buttonThis machine is equipped with a hose burst check valve system. This system is for countries with specific regulation requirements that the implement linkage does not fall when there is a rupture in a hydraulic hose. A warning page appears. The warning appears providing awareness to operators because the hydraulic hose burst check valve is being bypassed by the ride control system hydraulics. The aforementioned warning informs operators that whenever the ride control system is active, the hydraulic hose burst check valve is being bypassed. When the hydraulic hose burst check valve is being bypassed, the regulation will not be satisfied. Also, the implement linkage will fail should a hydraulic hose rupture. When the machine is keyed on and the Hydraulic Hose Burst Check Valve is installed, a warning page will appear with the following message:
HOSE BURST CHECK VALVE IS DISABLED WHEN RIDE CONTROL IS IN AUTO OR SERVICE MODEIf the operator is running the machine, and then turns the ride control to either one of the following modes:
Auto (Automatic)
ServiceThis warning screen should appear at machine key-on for both the Auto mode and the Service mode. This warning will appear each time the operator switches to the Auto mode or the Service mode. The hose protection requires that the following conditions must occur in order for the ride control to enter the Service mode.
parking brake is engaged
linkage is in a lowered positionNote: The system will never be in service mode at key-on.Once in the Service mode, if those conditions are no longer met, the Ride Control feature will automatically change to the Auto mode. When the system is in auto mode, the same warning screen should appear when the ride controlis in auto mode when machine is keyed on.When the user presses the OK button (1), the Information Display screen will proceed to the next screen in the machine key-on sequence. The information display holds the screen for 10 seconds. Then, the Information Display will automatically proceed to the next screen in the machine key-on sequence if the OK button (1) has not been pressed.Note: For more information on the ride control feature, refer to the following, M0064824-05, Machine Setting Menu in the ride control section.Note: For more information on the implement linkage sensor feature refer to the following, , M0064824-05, Service Menu in the linkage sensors control section.
