This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4028" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the June 6, 1997 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Service Claim Allowances.

Unexpected rapid implement movement has occurred during slow boom-down or slow stick-in operations.AEC signals the computer to increase engine rpm as the load changes from negative to positive conditions.
On the latest machines two pressure switches have been added to the pilot circuit (boom-down and stick-in) so that the electronic controller receives correct information about the actual implement load and the AEC function works properly during slow boom-down or slow stick-in operations.

1. Remove pilot pressure hose assembly from the 6V8781 Connector.2. Install a 1178032 T-swivel on the 6V8781 Connector (with a new 6V8397 Seal).3. Install the pilot pressure hose assembly on T-swivel (with a new 6V8397 Seal).4. Connect the 1270925 Pressure Switch on T-swivel (with a new 5W1696 Copper Seal).Lower End of Stick Control Valve (Stick-In Side)
1. Remove pilot pressure tube from the main valve.2. Replace the 6V8724 Elbow with 6V8781 Tee-face-seal (and add a new 3J1907 Seal).3.
