Remove the eight former bumpers (4) from rear hood (5). Discard the bumpers. By using a drill bit, enlarge the existing holes (6) to 25.4 mm (1.0 inch).

Position washer (2) on the bottom of the hole that was enlarged in Step 1. Position wear pad (1) so that the step is located in the hole. Install rivet (3) through wear pad (1) and through washer (2). Use the rivet tool in order to set the rivet. Repeat the procedure for all eight wear pads.
