Implement control joystick
The implement control joystick controls the following functions:
Upward and downward bowl movement.
Upward and downward apron movement.
Ejector forward and reverse movement.
Elevator speed and direction.
Auger forward and reverse control.
Bail function
Cushion-Hitch Control
Gear hold. The joystick control will move forward and backward. This action controls the upward and downward bowl movement. Also, the joystick control can move left or right. This action controls the forward and reverse movement of the ejector. The joystick control includes two push buttons, a proportional thumb rocker, and an optional trigger switch. The joystick control has a left push button and a right push button. The left push button is used to control the transmission gear hold. The right push button is used to control the cushion-hitch. The thumb rocker can move left or right. The thumb rocker is used for several different functions on different machine models depending on the machine configuration. On some machines the thumb rocker is used for raising and lowering the apron. On other machines, the thumb rocker is used for forward and reverse control of the elevator.Note: On machines manufactured starting in the year 2005, the joystick trigger configuration has changed from a one position switch to a two position switch. The trigger will still control the same implements as before. Refer to the above illustration for the correct joystick trigger fucntionality for your model machine. The trigger switch is used for different functions on different machine models depending on the machine configuration. On machineswith the single switch functionality, the joystick trigger functions as a single position switch. The trigger switch is used as the auger control (if equipped) or the bail control (if equipped) for each machine model. The machine can not be equipped with both the auger and the bail. On machines equipped with an elevator, the trigger locks the speed of the elevator. On machines with duel switch functionality, the joystick trigger has two positions (trigger up, trigger down) which will enable the operator to control either the elevator speed lock ON/OFF function, the bail UP/DOWN function or the auger forward rotation ON/OFF function depending on equipment configuration.Note: After the engine is started, the joystick control must be placed in the HOLD position for two seconds before any of the implements are allowed to move. The following illustrations and descriptive paragraph describe the joystick connections for machines with a one position trigger switch.

Connector contacts of joystick with single trigger switch
The joystick has three electrical connectors. One connector has 12 contacts. On this connector, contacts 4 and 12 are not used. Two connectors have 4 contacts. On these connectors, contact 4 is not used. The following illustration and descriptive paragraph describe the joystick connections for machines with a two position trigger switch (trigger up, trigger down).
