Air trapped in the travel lines on certain Mini Hydraulic Excavators. Machines have not been properly bled for air and there is air trapped in the travel lines. The trapped air may cause the machine to turn sharply if both travel pedals are moved at high travel speed. The air trapped in the lines may also cause the machine to jump, skip, or have poor travel performance.Solution
Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility.
To remove the trapped air in the travel lines, purge both the left and right travel lines using the procedure shown below.

On the implement valve there are two bleed valves on the third and forth valve bank from the left-hand side. See Illustration 1.

Connect bleed lines to the ports. Run the lines parallel to the fittings to help the air bubbles escape. Turn auto idle off and run the machine at high idle until air bubbles are no longer produced from the travel bleed lines. See Illustration 2.Note: Do not run the travel section during the bleeding procedure. This can add more air into the travel lines.
