Information:
1. Remove bolts (1), washers (2) and cover (3). Do not allow spring (4) to fall into the tank.2. Remove spring (4) and screen (5).3. Wash screen in clean nonflammable solvent and allow to dry. Inspect and replace it if it is damaged. 4. Inspect O-ring seals (6) and (7) and replace them if they are worn or damaged.5. Perform Steps 1 and 2 in reverse order for installation procedure. During installation, make sure O-ring seals and spring are properly positioned.Change the Return Filter
Two return filters are located at the left side of the hydraulic tank. Use the same procedure for changing the return filters. 1. Relieve the internal pressure from the return filter by slowly loosening the vent plug. After the pressure is relieved, tighten the plug. 2. Remove bolts (1), washers (2) and cover (3).3. Remove spring (4), valve (5) and element (6) from the tank. 4. Inspect O-ring seal (7) and replace it if it is worn or damaged.5. Perform Steps 2 and 3 in reverse order for installation procedure.Change the Pilot Filter
1. Open the access door on the right side of the machine. 2. Clean the area to keep dirt out of the filter base.3. Remove the used element from filter base. This element cannot be reused.4. Clean the filter base.5. Coat the seal of a new filter with clean hydraulic oil and install it in the filter base. Tighten the filter hand tight.Change Drain Filters
Pump Drain Filter
Located on the right of the pilot filter. 1. Slowly loosen the air vent plug (indicated by an arrow) to relieve pressure from the filter. Tighten the plug.2. Remove the used element from the filter base. This element cannot be reused.3. Clean the filter base.4. Coat the seal of a new filter with clean hydraulic oil and install it in the filter base.5. Tighten the filter hand tight.Motor Drain Filter

Tighten the filter hand tight. After replacing return filter, pilot filter and/or drain filter, be sure to thoroughly remove air from each filter and lines. Purge the air from the system as follows. With the engine idling, loosen the air vent plug of each filter several turns. Tighten the plug securely as soon as the oil flows out of the plug opening. This is an indication that the air has been purged. Clean up any spilled hydraulic oil.6. Drive the machine slowly for 10 to 15 minutes while moving each cylinder evenly through several cycles. 7. Return the machine to the position shown and check for oil leaks.8. Stop the engine. 9. Maintain the oil level in the low temperature range for a cold machine
