1 1 6V-7350 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lightly lubricate the bore with the lubricant that is being sealed.
2 1 8C-3100 Lip Type Seal Do not lubricate the seal lip.
Install the lip type seal with the primary lip toward the water pump drive gear. Press the oil seal with a press until the oil seal is flush with face of counterbore as shown in the Illustration 1.
Use installation tool for installation. Do not install the lip type seal by hand.
3 1 349-2654 Water Pump Seal Press the water pump seal assembly onto the shaft until the stationary cup is fully seated inside the pump housing.
Installation height (D) is 10.92 0.13 mm (0.430 0.005 inch).
Use installation tool for installation. Do not install the water pump seal by hand.
B - - Distance between the impeller and the pump housing is 8.40 0.25 mm (0.33 0.010 inch).
4 1 203-3831 Cup Plug Maximum installation depth of the cup plug from the machined surface is 1.25 mm (0.049 inch). Orient the cup plug as shown in the Illustration 1 within 10 degrees.
5 1 225-7003 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lightly lubricate the bore with 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
