During operation, swing parking brake solenoid valve (2) is nonenergized. A nonenergized swing parking brake solenoid valve (2) returns the pilot oil from the swing parking brake line (4) to hydraulic tank drain passage (5). When the swing pilot valvefor an implement function or the travel function is actuated, an electrical signal is sent to the machine control module. If the ladders are in the stowed position, an electrical signal is sent from the machine control module which energizes the swing parking brake solenoid valve (2). When the swing parking brake solenoid valve (2) is energized, pilot oil is supplied from passage (1) to swing parking brake line (4). Pilot oil in swing parking brake line (4) releases the swing parking brakes. The swing parking brakes are located on the swing drives.
