Apply Tooling (E) to the threads of spool socket (22) and guide socket (19) .
Install O-ring seal (23) and spool socket (22) in valve body (8) .
Install spool (21), O-ring seal (20), and guide socket (19) in valve body (8) .
Tighten guide socket (19) and spool socket (22) to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft).

Assemble valve body (8) to piston actuator (18) and install bolts (17). Tighten bolts (17) to a torque of 80 10 N m (59 7 lb ft).
Install O-ring seals (16) to valve body (8) .

Install seal (15), O-ring seal (14), O-ring seal (13), ring (12), and retainer (11) to seal housing (10) .

Install seal housing (10) on pressure control valve (7) .

Install spring (9) and control valve (7) in valve body (8) .

Install diaphragm (6) in accumulator body (2) .

Apply Tooling (D) to the threads of accumulator cover (4) .
Install accumulator cover (4) to accumulator body (2) .
Use Tooling (B) to tighten accumulator cover (4) to a torque of 200 N m (148 lb ft).
Install bolt (3) and seal washer (5) to accumulator cover (4) .

Dry nitrogen is the only gas approved for use in the accumulator. Charging the accumulator with oxygen gas will cause an explosion. This danger will not happen if nitrogen cylinders with standard CGA (Compressed Gas Association, Inc.) Number 580 connections are used. When you order nitrogen gas, be sure that the cylinders are equipped with CGA No. 580 Connections. Do not use color codes or other methods of identification to tell the difference between nitrogen and oxygen cylinders.
Attach Tooling (A) to accumulator cover (4). Use Tooling (A) to charge accumulator body (2) with 50 Bar (725 psi) of dry nitrogen.

Apply Tooling (E) to bolts (1) .
Install accumulator body (2) and bolts (1) .
Tighten bolt (3) to 27 N m (20 lb ft).End By:
Install the hydraulic hand control. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Hammer Control - Install".
Install the hammer housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hammer Housing - Remove and Install".
