1. Clean metal parts in nonflammable solvent.2. Inspect small end of the plunger. Passages in the plunger must be clean.3. Install spring seat (7) in valve body (3).4. Install plunger spring (6).5. Install seal (4) on plunger (5).6. Put lubricant on plunger.7. Install the plunger in the valve body.8. Plunger must move freely in the valve body.
Seal can cause some friction with valve body.
9. Push down plunger and release. Plunger spring must move plunger back.10. Inspect the inlet valve and inlet valve seat in the valve body.11. Install inlet valve (8) and inlet valve spring (9).12. Put lubricant on seal and install seal (10) on cap nut.13. Install cap nut (11) into valve body.14. Install lever (1) and make alignment of holes.15. Install pin (2).end by:a) install front wheel brake valve SERVICE CHECKInstall plug in one delivery port. Install an air pressure test gauge in the other delivery port. Install a second air gauge in the air inlet line. Connect air to the inlet port, put valve lever in "ON" position. Air gauge installed in the delivery port must show the same as the gauge installed in air inlet line. LEAKAGE TESTPut lever in "OFF" position and have air connected to the inlet port of valve. Put soap suds over the exhaust opening (where the lever enters the valve) to see inlet valve leakage. Move lever to "ON" position and put more soap suds over opening to see leakage beyond the exhaust plunger. Make a repair or replacement of valve if exhaust port leakage is beyond a one inch bubble in five seconds.
