See the article that follows.Some 3100 engines have been experiencing leaks from the oil filter base. The improper torque on the center bolts of the oil filter base is causing the leak.Perform the torque sequence to the oil filter base. Repeat the torque sequence to the oil filter base in order to prevent a leak. The torque sequence can be found in the following publications:
