Removal Procedure
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the OFF position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".
Open the engine hood.

Remove the nut from lower bolt (5). Do not remove bolt (5) at this time. Remove bolts (1) and (3) and remove spacer (2). Remove guard (4) .

Remove belt (6) for the alternator. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, " Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

Disconnect harness assemblies (7) .

Remove bolt (5) and alternator (8) .Installation Procedure

Position alternator (8) and install bolt (5) .

Connect harness assemblies (7) .

Install belt (6) for the alternator. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, " Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

Position guard (4). Install spacer (2). Install bolts (1) and (3). Install the nut onto lower bolt (5).
