Information:

start by:a) remove bucketb) remove bucket positioner (right side tilt levers and link assemblies only) 1. Use machine hydraulics to lift the lift arms to a height of approximately 60 in. (152.4 cm). Put tooling (A) in position under the lift arms as shown. Put the weight of the lift arms on tooling (A). 2. Remove bolt (1) and nut that hold pin (2) in position in the front lever. 3. Fasten a hoist to the front lever. Remove pin (2). Disconnect rear link assembly (3) from the front lever. Lower the front lever on to the lift arm. If necessary, use tooling (B) to remove the pins from the levers and link assemblies. 4. Fasten a hoist to rear link assembly (3). Remove bolt (4) and nut that hold the pin in position in the rear lever. Remove pin (5) from the lever and link assembly. Remove rear link assembly (3). The weight of the rear link assembly is 52 lb. (24 kg). 5. Remove lip seals (7) from each end of the rear link assembly.6. Use tooling (C) to remove bearing (6) from each end of the link assembly. See SPECIAL INSTRUCTION Form No. GMG00806 for the correct use of the pulling adapter in tooling (C). 7. Fasten a hoist to the front tilt lever (8). Remove the bolt and nut that hold the pin in position in the lever. Remove pin (9). Remove front tilt lever and link assembly from the lift arms as a unit. The weight of the lever and link assembly is 190 lb. (86 kg). 8. Remove bolt (12) and nut that holds pin (10) in position in the front tilt lever.9. Remove pin (10) from lever and link assembly. Remove front link assembly (11) from lever (8). 10. Remove lip seals (14) from each end of the front link assembly.11. Use tooling (D) to remove bearing (13) from each end of the front link assembly. See SPECIAL INSTRUCTION Form No. GMG00806 for the correct use of the pulling adapter in tooling (D). 12. Fasten a hoist to the rear tilt lever. Fasten a hoist to the tilt cylinder. Remove bolt (17) and nut that hold the pin in position in the lever. Remove pin (16). Lower tilt cylinder (15). 13. Remove bolt (19) and plate (18) from the pin. 14. Remove rear tilt lever (20) from the pin. The weight of the rear tilt lever is 220 lb. (99 kg). 15. Remove lip seals (22) from the rear tilt lever. 16. Use tooling (E) to remove bearing (21). See SPECIAL INSTRUCTION Form No. GMG00806 for the correct use of the pulling adapter in tooling (E). 17. If it is necessary to remove the pins from the lift arms, remove bolt (23). Use tooling (F) to remove the pins.Install Tilt Levers And Link Assemblies
1. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease in all pin bores. 2. If the pin was removed from the lift arms, install pin (1) with tooling (H). Install the
