Information:

15. Remove four bolts (13) and the washers. 16. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to hydraulic oil tank (15) as shown.17. Remove two bolts (14), the washers, spacers and nuts that hold hydraulic oil tank (15) in position. Remove the hydraulic oil tank. The weight of the hydraulic oil tank is 172 kg (380 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the hydraulic oil tank.18. Check the condition of all O-ring seals used in the installation of the hydraulic oil tank. If any of the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.19. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to hydraulic oil tank (15). Put the hydraulic oil tank in position on the machine. Install two bolts (14), the washers, spacers and nuts that hold it.20. Reinstall four bolts (13) and the washers.21. Install block (11) and four bolts (12) that hold it.22. Connect electrical connector (10).23. Put steering control valve (7) in position on the manifold, and install the three bolts and washers that hold it.24. Connect hose assembly (9) with four bolts (8) and the washers.25. Reconnect hose assemblies (4) and (5).26. Reconnect wires (6) to the sending unit on the hydraulic oil tank.27. Put the elbow in position on the hydraulic oil tank, and install two bolts (2) and the washers that hold it.28. Reconnect tube assembly (3) to the block.29. Put the block in position on the back side of the hydraulic oil tank, and install four bolts (1) and the washers that hold it.30. Reinstall the fender assembly on the right side of the machine. See the topic "Remove & Install Fender Assemblies" in this module.31. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.32. Separate the steering frame lock link. See the topic "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.33. Start the machine, and check for leaks.Disassemble Hydraulic Oil Tank
Start By:a. remove hydraulic oil tank1. Remove the hydraulic oil filters from the hydraulic oil tank. See the topic "Remove & Install Hydraulic Oil Filters" in this module. 2. Remove the bolts and locknuts that hold cover assembly (1) to tank assembly (2).3. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to the cover assembly as shown. Remove the cover assembly from the tank assembly. The weight of the cover assembly is 48 kg (105 lb). 4. Remove four bolts (3) and the sight gauge assembly from the cover assembly. 5. Disassemble the sight gauge assembly. Remove plate (4), grommet (5), glass (6) and O-ring seals (7) from retainer (8). 6. Remove bolts (10), baffle assembly (9) and the oil filter base. 7. Remove studs (11) and O-ring seals (12) from filter base (13).
There is a compressed spring behind cover (15). When two bolts (14) are removed, the spring force will be released. To prevent possible personal injury, slowly and evenly loosen bolts (14) while retaining the cover.
