Intermittent drift and/or piston seal extrusion on loader lift cylindersSolution
If an intermittent drift is detected the piston seal in the 228-3505 Lift Cylinder Gp or 228-3509 Lift Cylinder Gp should be inspected. The color of the piston seal should be blue. The piston seal should be replaced if the color is black as well as the expander ring with the following part number 233-2584 Seal As . If a 233-2584 Seal As is not available, an acceptable replacement seal is available: 161-7149 Piston Seal . The seal kit for the entire cylinder may also be ordered 243-2276 Seal Kit .
