THIS IRM IS A REPLACEMENT FOR REM04-05 (PEJ0299)
Product
Caterpillar announces the addition of a Remanufactured 3126 engine. This engine is intended as a medium-duty truck customer?s service repair option.
Consist
This Reman 3126 2-valve HEUI? engine comes fully assembled and dynamometer tested. The flywheel, alternator, starter, and AC compressor (if applicable) must be reused from the core engine or purchased separately.
Core Acceptance
All engines returned as cores must meet the core acceptance guidelines as identified in the ?Core Acceptance Criteria? SELD0266.

Please refer to the Caterpillar? Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) Parts Information application describing all reman part/CAF and related information. Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance.
