APPEARANCE CHANGE ON REMAN 3176, 3196, C-10,C-12, 3406E, C-15 and C-16

The Caterpillar Remanufactured Products Group announces an appearance change on selected Cat Reman 3176, 3196, C-10, C-12, 3406E, C-15 and C16 injectors effective 5/01/04. In order to improve appearance and salvage of injector stator covers, Cat Reman will begin using stator cover marking sleeves on selected EUI injectors. Currently, Cat Reman must ?X? out the old serial number, trim code, and part number information from the stator cover and imprint the new information. This process can only be done a limited number of times. Effective 5/1/04 Cat Reman will begin using a disposable marking sleeve. See the picture below. The cover and stator are not serviced separately; the picture is for clarity only. This change will not alter fit or performance in any way. Part numbers affected are 0R4893, 0R4894, 0R4895, 10R0724, 10R0954, 10R0955, 10R0956, 10R0957, 10R0958, 10R0959, 10R1000, 0R1046, 0R4986, 0R4987, 0R4988, 0R7549, 0R8773, 0R9350, 10R0725, 10R0960, 10R0961, 10R0963, 10R0966, 10R0967, 10R0968, 10R1003, 10R1258, 10R1259, 10R1264, 10R1268 and 10R1814.
