The improved radiator core assembly is manufactured with a different soldering process. The new process results in stronger tube to header solder joints.Adaptable To: The new 137-4896 Radiator Group is a direct replacement for the former 1W-6861 Radiator Group. The new radiator group is effective with 834B (7BR590) Wheel Tractor and 836 (7FR248) Compactor. The only difference between the new and former radiator groups is the radiator core assembly. The new radiator group includes the 134-6744 Radiator Core Assembly. The former radiator group included the former 8N-7489 Radiator Core Assembly. The 134-6744 Radiator Core Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 8N-7489 Radiator Core Assembly in 1W-6861 Radiator Group on all earlier 834B Wheel Tractors and 836 Compactors.
