11. Install shims (11) and caps (12) for the lift cylinders.12. Make sure the hydraulic system is filled with oil to the correct level. See MAINTENANCE GUIDE.Disassemble Bulldozer
START BY:a) remove bulldozer 1. Put wooden blocks (1) and (2) in position as shown and/or tooling (D) in position under the trunnions on the bulldozer blade to hold the bulldozer blade in place. 2. Remove guards (3) and (4) from the tag link. Remove guard (5) from the bulldozer tilt cylinder. 3. Disconnect oil lines (6) from plate (7). 4. Lift up on plate (7) and disconnect oil lines (8) and (9) from the plate. Remove plate (7). 5. Remove the bolts that hold plate (10) to the tag link. Remove oil lines (8) and (9), plate (10) and oil lines (11) and (12) as a unit from tag link (13). 6. Fasten a hoist to tag link (13). Remove cap (14) and the shims to disconnect the tag link from the bulldozer blade. Remove tag link (13). The weight is 640 lb. (290 kg). 7. Remove bracket (15). Remove tube assembly (16) and oil lines (6) from the bulldozer tilt cylinder. 8. Fasten a hoist to the bulldozer tilt cylinder. Remove plates (18) and (20) that hold the pins in place. Make a replacement of the 1P544 Nut with a 9K9770 Nut (22) when pins (19) and (17) are removed. The 1P544 Nut makes contact with the bulldozer blade when it is installed. 9. If necessary use tooling (A) and remove pin (19) and spacers (23) that hold the bulldozer tilt cylinder to the bulldozer blade. 10. Use tooling (A) and remove pin (17) that hold the bulldozer tilt cylinder to the push arm. Remove bulldozer tilt cylinder (21). The weight is 1100 lb. (499 kg). 11. Remove handle (24) from the brace.12. Remove plates (25) and (26) that hold the pins in place. 13. Fasten a hoist to brace (27). If necessary use tooling (A) and remove pin (28) and spacers (29) that hold the brace to the bulldozer blade.14. If necessary use tooling (A) and remove pin (30) that holds the brace to the push arm. Remove brace (27). The weight is 860 lb. (390 kg). 15. Fasten a hoist to the right push arm. Remove plate (31) that holds the pin in place. 16. If necessary use tooling (A) and remove pin (32) that holds the push arm to the connector. Remove right push arm (33). The weight is 2600 lb. (1179 kg).17. Do Steps 15 and 16 to remove the left push arm. The weight is 2400 lb. (1089 kg). 18. Remove plates (34) that hold pins (35) in place.19. If necessary use tooling (A) and remove pins (35) that hold the connectors to the bulldozer blade. Remove connectors (36). The weight is 60 lb. (27 kg.). 20. Use
