Install swashplate (20). Rods (22) must pass through the holes in guides (24).
Install the retaining ring and the bearing on the shaft. Install shaft (18) with bearing (19) as a unit.

Install seal retainer (17) and the seal. Align marks (A) and (B) on the retainer and on the pump housing.

Install retaining ring (16).
The following procedure is used to assemble the rotator:

Install the spring and seats (44) and (45) to the barrel.
Use a press to compress spring (42).
Install retaining ring (43).

Install retainer (15), the shims, and the spring on the barrel.

Place the following components in alignment: piston guide, pistons and barrel. Install plate (13) and the pistons in the barrel.

Apply a thin coat of oil to the swashplate. Install swashplate (12).
The following procedure is used to assemble the head:

Install bushing (46).
Install bushings (47) and (48) in the head.
Install five plugs (49).
Install seal (50).

Install pressure compensator valve (51) in the pump head.
If necessary, install two rings (52).
If necessary, install plug (53).
Install relief valve (54) in the pump head.
Install two makeup valves (55) in the pump head.

Install four bolts (10) and install head (11) on the piston pump.

If necessary, install the bushing in the charge pump.
Install O-ring seal (9).
Identify the top side of gear (8). Install gear (8) in the charge pump.
Install gear (7).
Install the following components in the charge pump: retaining ring (5), coupling (6) and the key.

Install four bolts (3) and install charge pump (4) on the piston pump.
