- - - Assemble idler group with fill valve located toward outside of the machine.
- - - The rubber toric seals and all the contacting surfaces must be clean and dry at assembly. Prior to assembly, apply a thin film of 6V-4876 Lubricant to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The metal seal rings must be assembled square. The rubber toric seal should not bulge and the rubber toric seal should not twist.
1 1 8T-4137 Bolt Torque to 34 to 74 N m (25 to 55 lb ft).
2 1 232-7692 Grease Fitting Torque to 59 to 88 N m (44 to 65 lb ft).
3 1 377-1235 Spring Length under test force is 217.0 mm (8.54 inch).
Test force is 36200 2900 N (8138 652 lb).
Free length after test is 308.6 mm (12.15 inch).
4 1 120-4664 Dust Seal Before assembly, lubricate the bore and the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
5 1 095-1794 Backup Ring Before assembly, lubricate the bore and the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
6 1 095-1604 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the bore and the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
7 4 387-4703 Bolt Torque to 54 to 123 N m (40 to 91 lb ft).
8 2 267-4815 Bushing Bore diameter after assembly is 40.000 0.055 mm (1.5748 0.0022 inch).
9 2 095-1600 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the bore and the sealing lip with the lubricant that is being sealed.
10 2 154-2235 Bolt Torque to 59 to 74 N m (44 to 55 lb ft).

Minimum is 0.15 mm (0.006 inch).
Maximum is 1.78 mm (0.070 inch).
