Illustration 1: Typical Carburetor Control Group. (1) 114-9269 Sleeve. (2) 5L-3291 Ball Bearing Assembly. (3) Control shaft. The control shaft on the carburetor control groups should NOT touch the mounting pad (housing) of the ball bearing assembly on the air inlet adapter.The second improvement is the removal of the setscrew from 5L-3291 Ball Bearing Assembly. Illustration 2 shows the ball bearing assembly where the setscrews are to be removed.
