Performing an Auto Valve Tune
The "Auto Valve Tune" menu is used to tune the valve.

This screen allows you to tune the left valve or the right valve.Note: While working on a system that has a single mast the "Auto Valve Tune" option only exists for the side that the mast is on.Perform the following steps in order to automatically tune the valves:
From the "Auto Valve Tune" screen, toggle the arrow keys until "Auto Valve Tune" is highlighted. Press "OK" Note: If you only have one mast on the left blade tip, select "Auto Valve Tune" for the left blade. Follow the steps below in order to raise and lower the left blade tip instead of the right blade tip.

Set the lower limit for the blade. To set the limit, manually lower the left blade tip until the laser strike indicator in the laser strike window is in the laser strike limit range that is marked with the heavy line. An "OK" success indicator appears on the screen. When the requirement for the lower limit is met, a similar screen to Illustration 190 will appear.Note: If the blade tip is not lowered into an acceptable range, a "Set Limits Fault" message appears.
Press "OK". The screen in Illustration 191 appears.

Set the blade upper limit. To set the limit, manually raise the left blade tip until the laser strike indicator in the laser strike window is in the laser strike limit range that is marked with the heavy line. "OK" appears on the screen. When the requirement for the upper limit is met, a similar screen to Illustration 192 appears:Note: If the blade tip is not raised into an acceptable range, a "Set Limits Fault " message appears.

Press "OK". The screen in Illustration 193 appears.

Press "OK" in order to start the automatic tuning of the left valve. A percentage value that shows the progress of the tuning appears.
When the procedure is complete a screen that is similar to Illustration 194 appears.

Press "OK". You are returned to the main "Auto Valve Tune" screen in Illustration 189.
For a system with dual masts, repeat the process for the right blade tip. Dip Reduction
The blade has a tendency to dip as the circle is rotated. The "Dip Reduction" option is used in order to counteract the movement of the blade. This option can be found in the "Performance" menu.To adjust the dip reduction, perform the following steps:

Select "Adjust".

Press the up arrow soft key or the down arrow soft key in order to increase the dip reduction or to decrease the dip reduction.
Press "OK" in order to accept the dip reduction value. You are returned to the "Performance" menu. Pre-delivery Checklist
