Joystick (front switch)
Disable the hydraulic modulation control, if equipped. Press the front switch on the right joystick in order to deactivate hydraulic modulation.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test. Test Procedure
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.

Overload warning control button located on the soft panel switch
Place the switch for overload warning control in the ON position. Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when the overload warning control is activated.
Slowly move the joystick to the BOOM UP position.
Illustration 10 g02387383
Typical example of a machine that is equipped with a boom and stick
(G) Extension of boom cylinder
(H) Free space between the wheels and the ground
(J) Position of the rear wheels
Extend the boom cylinders until the wheels under the rear side of the machine are above the ground. The machine will be tipping forward. Note: The buzzer for the overload warning device should sound.
Record the measured boom cylinder head pressure from load sensing signal pressure tap in Table 2.
Slowly retract the boom cylinder until all wheels are on the ground. Refer to Illustration 3.
The value of the threshold pressure for the overload warning device is 70 percent of the recorded boom cylinder head pressure from Step 4. This calculation is shown in Table 2.
If the buzzer for the overload warning device does not sound between the specified pressure range, refer to the "Adjustment Procedure" procedure. Adjustment Procedure
Start Electronic Technician.
Select the Machine ECM and then elect “OK”.
Select “Service” from the main menu.
Select "Configuration Group 1" from the "Service" menu.
Select "Overload Pressure" from the "Configuration Group 1" menu.
