Install disc (6) and bolts (5).

Position parking brake (3) and install bolts (4).

Make sure that bolt (8) does not hit the mounting bracket.
Tighten adjusting screw (9) until the brake pads clamp tight against the disc.

Hold jam nuts (10) while you tighten bolts (11). Tighten until bolts (11) come in contact with the polyurethane springs and the polyurethane springs can no longer be turned by hand. Once contact with the springs is made, turn bolts (11) an additional 360 5 degrees. The length of the polyurethane springs should be 12.7 - 16.8 mm (0.50 - 0.66 inch).

Once the preload is set, remove bolts (4) and remove parking brake (3).

Mount parking brake (3) and bracket to a suitable bench. Use Tooling (B) in order to tighten jam nuts (10) against the mounting bracket to a torque of 600 N m (443 lb ft)

Position parking brake (3) and install bolts (4).

Use Tooling (A) in order to apply hydraulic pressure and release parking brake (3).

Turn adjusting screw (9) clockwise until the brake pads are no longer loose and the torque on adjusting screw (9) does not exceed 13.6 N m (120.37 lb in). Back off adjusting screw (9) 3 turns.
First adjust the brake pad closest to the axle using a 2.0 mm (0.07874 inch) feeler gauge check the brake pad to disc clearance.

Adjust bolt (8) until bolt (8) comes in contact with mounting plate (13). Be sure that the 2.0 mm (0.07874 inch) feeler gauge is still in place. Tighten bolt (8) until the feeler gauge is slightly tight. Hold bolt (8) and tighten nut (12) to a torque of 44 4 N m (32 3 lb ft). Next, adjust the second brake pad by turning bolt (9) until running clearance between pad and disc is 2.0 mm (0.07874 inch).

Release the pressure from Tooling (A) in order for the parking brake to apply. Use Tooling (A) in order to reapply the pressure. Check the clearance between the disc and the brake pads. The clearance should be between 1.90 2.10 mm (0.07480 0.08268 inch).
Remove Tooling (A). Install cover (7).

Install fitting (2) and connect hose assembly (1). End By:
Install the front drive shaft.
Cycle the park brake 50 times.
