Personal injury or death could occur if the telescoping frame is not supported properly so that it does not rotate on the track assembly pivot and fall against the track assembly.
1. Place a suitable wooden block between the telescoping frame and the track assembly so the cylinder tubing remains stationary and vertical during this procedure and does not pivot. 2. Remove fifteen bolts (1) and washers. Leave two bolts (1) and washers in place until the lifting device is positioned. 3. Use lifting device to support elevation arm while removing the last two bolts (1) and washer. 4. Lower elevation arm (2) with the lifting device.5. Remove two dowels (3) if necessary. 6. Raise machine with a suitable lifting device so that the telescoping frame clears the cylinder tubing to remove elevation arm. The wood between the telescoping frame and the track assembly keeps the cylinder tubing from pivoting during this procedure.7. Raise elevation arm with the lifting device.
