3412 (3JK) Marine EnginesThe 3E3761 Coolant Level Sensor Assembly is a part of the engine monitoring system. This sensor monitors engine coolant level and initiates the low coolant level diagnostic and annunciation. The design of this sensor includes the soft plastic cover (1) over the sensor tip. This cover is essential to the proper functioning of the sensor. If this cover is removed, the sensor will fail. When replacing this sensor, DO NOT remove the plastic cover from the tip of the new sensor.
