Left side rear of the engine
Connect hydraulic hose assembly (21) to the pump drive.

Left side of the transmission
Install a new O-ring seal and install tube assembly (20) and hose (19) to the left side of the transmission.

Left side of the transmission
Place hose assembly (17) in position on the transmission and install the clamp.
Place hose assemblies (18) in position on the transmission. Secure the hose bundle in place with two clamps.

Rear of the transmission
Connect breather hose assembly (15) onto the transmission.
Use the clips to secure air conditioner hose assembly (16) to the top of the transmission.

Rear of the transmission
Move the drive shaft into position. Connect universal joint (14) for the drive shaft to the transmission yoke. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 215 40 N m (160 30 lb ft).

Mount check and pressure reducing valve (8) to the frame. Install hose assemblies (10), (11), (12), and (13) to the check and pressure reducing valve (8).

Connect harness assembly (2) to the speed sensors (9). Connect the harness assembly at connector (7) for the solenoid on check and pressure reducing valve (8).
Place hose assemblies (6) in position on the top of the transmission. Secure the hose assemblies in place with a cable strap.
Place harness assembly (2) in position on the transmission. Install the wiring clips in order to secure the wiring harness in place.

Connect the harness assembly at connector (5) to the side of the transmission.

Connect harness (2) to solenoid valves (4) and to transmission temperature sensor (3).

Place harness assemblies (1) and (2) in position on the frame and the transmission.
Check the level of the transmission oil. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil Level - Check". End By:
Install the steering piston pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Steering) - Install".
Install the hoist gear pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Hoist) - Install".
Raise the crankcase guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Power Train Guard (Transmission) - Remove and Install".
Install the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Install".
