Information:
Personal injury or death can result from grease and oil coming out of the relief valve.Grease and oil are under high pressure coming out of the relief valve and can penetrate the body.Do not watch the relief valve to see if grease is escaping. Watch the track or track adjustment cylinder to see if the track is being loosened. Make sure the vent holes are clean before the tension is released on the track.

Use the following steps in order to loosen the track.
Turn relief valve (1) to one turn counterclockwise in order to permit grease to be released from the vent hole that is below the relief valve (1). If the track does not loosen go to Step 1.b.
Turn valve (2) to one turn counterclockwise. This will permit grease to be released from the vent hole that is below the valve. If the grease is not released, go to Step 1.c.
Install a slug that is 76.2 mm (3.0 inch) in diameter. The slug should be 63.5 mm (2.5 inch) long between the track and the sprocket segment. Move the machine toward the rear so that the track will be pushed up by the slug. The front idler and the track adjuster will move to the rear of the track against the force of the recoil spring. This will push grease out of the vent holes.

Make an adjustment to tool (B) until the height is approximately 108 cm (42.5 inch). Make an adjustment to tool (C) so that the height of tool (C) is 72.4 cm (28.5 inch) tall.
Put tool (A) at the rear of the machine.
Start the machine. Move the machine to the rear and up on tool (A) .
Put tool (C) under the bevel gear case.Note: The weight of the machine will not be on tool (C) until the front of the machine is lifted with tool (A) .
Put tool (A) in position in front of the machine. Move the machine slowly up on tool (A). As the front of the machine goes up, the rear of the machine will come down on tool (C) .
Lift the front of the machine so that tool (B) can be installed under the radiator guard and the main frame of the machine. You can now remove tool (A) that is located at the rear of the machine.
Move both tracks to the rear until tool (A) is free at the front of the machine.

Note: The left track can be held so that the left track does not turn during the removal of the right track. The right track can be held so that the right track does not turn during the removal of the left track.
Use the following steps in order to remove the right track.
Start the machine.
Move the right track backward or move the right track forward in order to align the master shoe. Align the master shoe below a horizontal line that goes through the center of the sprocket.
