TRANSFORMER GP-IGNITION 2592078 - Caterpillar

Before any air lines are disconnected, be sure the system pressure is zero.
1. Disconnect air hose (3) from the elbow.2. Loosen the nuts, and remove handles (1) from the levers.3. Remove five allen screws (4), and remove cover (2). 4. Remove clip assembly (5) that holds the wiring harness assembly connectors together. Separate connector (6) that holds the wiring harness assemblies together. 5. Remove the bolt and nuts, and disconnect rod end (8) and (10) from the levers.6. Remove bolt (7) and slide shaft assembly (9) from the bracket assembly. Remove the washers, spacers, bearings and levers as the shaft assembly is removed. 7. Remove two bearings (12) from each lever (11). 8. Remove four bolts (13) and bracket assembly (14) from the machine. 9. Remove setscrew (17), and remove the shaft from the bracket assembly. Remove the washers, levers (16), spacer (15) and the bearings as the shaft is removed. 10. Remove two bearings (19) from each lever.11. Loosen the locknut, and remove roller (18) from each lever.Install Hydraulic Control Group
1. Use tooling (A), and install two bearings (2) in levers (3). Install the bearings in each side of the levers until they are flush with the outside surface.2. Put roller (1) in position in each lever, and install the locknut that holds them in place. 3. Put washers (6), levers (3), bearings (4) and spacer (5) in position in the bracket assembly as shaft (8) is installed.4. Install shaft (8) until groove (7) on the shaft is aligned with setscrew (9). Tighten setscrew (9) to hold the shaft in position. 5. Put bracket assembly (11) in position on the machine, and install four bolts (10) that hold it in place. 6. Use tooling (A), and install two bearings (12) in each lever (13) and (14). Install the bearings in each side of the levers until they are flush with the outside surface. 7. Put washers (15), levers (13) and (14), bearings (16) and (18) and spacers (17) and (19) in position in bracket assembly (11) as shaft assembly (22) is installed.8. Put shaft assembly (22) in position, and install bolt (20) that holds it in place.9. Put rod ends (21) and (23) in position on levers (13) and (14), and install the bolt and nuts that hold them in place. 10. Dimension (A) between levers (3) and levers (13) and (14) must be 2.5 1.0 (.10 .04 in.). Add or remove bearings (4) to obtain the correct dimension. See Steps 3 and 4.11. Dimension (B) between the bracket assembly and each end of the lever assembly must be a maximum of 1.5 mm (.06 in.). Add or remove bearings (18) to obtain the correct dimension. See Step 7. 12. Connect connector (24) that holds the wiring harness assemblies together. Install clip assembly (25) that holds connector (24) together. 13. Put cover (29) in position, and install five allen screws (28) that hold it in place. Tighten the screws to a torque of 9
