Start the engine. Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Position the machine so that the master link is located at the 10 o'clock position of the sprocket. The master link is equipped with a groove that is located around the outer perimeter of the pin.

Remove bolts (1) and remove cover (2).

Release tension on track assembly. Loosen relief valve (3) by one turn only. If track assembly does not loosen after opening relief valve, move machine forward and backward until tension is released.

Attach a suitable lifting device to track shoe, as shown. Remove mounting bolts (4) for each track shoe and remove track shoes (5) and (6). The weight of each track shoe is approximately 35 kg (75 lb).

Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) in order to separate master link. Use a suitable lifting device in order to raise track from Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (B) and lower track assembly to floor.
