939 (9GL) Track Loaders Powered by 3046 EngineDescription of Change: A plug has replaced a grease fitting in order to prevent excessive greasing of the water pump. Excessive grease in the water pump can result in the failure of the seal. The lubrication interval for the water pump is 5000 hours.
Adaptable To: The 5I-7505 Plug directly replaces the former grease fitting on the 107-2473 Water Pump that is contained within the 106-8263 Water Pump Group. The new plug is effective with the 3046 Engines in D3C (6SL1275, 7XL507, 8DL45, 9CL360), D4C (6YL984, 7SL328, 8EL78), and D5C (9DL1113, 6ZL385, 7YL94) Track-type Tractors; and on the 933 (8FL256, 9EL79) and 939 (9GL424) Track Loaders. The 5I-7505 Plug can be used to replace the grease fitting on the water pump of all earlier machines.
